Are all vehicles eligible for Toyota Relax?
Toyota Relax is available for all vehicles up to 10 years of age or 185,000 kms from the vehicle’s first registration. Please refer to the eligibility criteria terms and conditions below.
I didn’t service at a Toyota (or Lexus) dealer in the past year(s), can I benefit from Relax warranty?
Yes, you are always welcome! Whenever you perform a maintenance at an authorised Toyota Dealer, you will benefit from a Toyota Relax warranty until your next service is due. That is a 1-year or 15,000km warranty(whichever comes first) for most Toyota vehicles*. Relax can only be granted if your vehicle is less than 10 years or fewer than 185,000 km from the first registration of your vehicle.

May I get Relax warranty if I haven’t had the maintenance done at an Authorised Toyota Repairer in previous years?
Your vehicle will benefit from Toyota Relax, regardless of whether you have had your previous maintenance outside of the Toyota Authorised Network, as long as your vehicle is eligible.
Is my vehicle still for Toyota Relax warranty if I missed my service due date?
Yes, you are always welcome! You will benefit from Toyota Relax until your vehicle reaches 10 years or 185,000km mileage from the vehicle’s first registration.
I have Relax cover. Does it mean that my next maintenance I must visit a Toyota retailer?
No. We hope to see you again and be able to provide to your vehicle the next maintenance so you can benefit from a new Toyota Relax warranty.
Until my next maintenance is due, do I need to keep visiting my Toyota Dealer?
While still benefiting from Relax, you remain entirely free to have additional services provided by non-Authoriesed Toyota Repairer. The use of a non-Authoriesed Toyota Repairer does not affect the Relax coverage validity unless the defect for which the additional warranty is claimed was the result of work done by a non-Authorised Toyota Repairer. (See Terms and Conditions Section “Exclusions”)

What is a Service Activated Warranty?
If you get your Toyota serviced by a Toyota Authorized repairer you get a 12-month warranty on your vehicle.
What Toyota cars qualify for a service-activated warranty?
All Commercial and Passenger vehicles that are less than 10 year old or under 185,000KM that were produced for the European/UK market are eligible.
I have never been for a service with an Approved Toyota Repairer, am I still eligible?
Yes, you do not have to previously serviced your vehicle with a Toyota Authorised repairer.
I bought my car second hand and not from a Toyota dealer, am I still eligible?
Yes, you do not have to previously purchased the vehicle from a Toyota dealer.
So I can keep my car under warranty for 10 years or 185,000km whichever comes first?
Yes, if you have your service with a Toyota Authorised repairer, you will receive a new Toyota Relax warranty.
Are commercial vehicles eligible?
Yes, as long as they are less than 10 years old or under 185,000km.

When your next service is due, if you return to a Toyota Dealer or Authorised Repairer, a new 12-month Toyota Relax warranty will be activated for your vehicle. Whenever you service with us you are eligible for a new Relax warranty up to the vehicle’s 10th birthday or until the vehicle has reached 185,000KMs (whichever comes first), after the expiration of the Manufacturer Warranty.
